What’s the difference between Pepper vs. Solid/Kinetic?
Pepper: shell breaks on impact to disperse an OC/PAVA payload that causes intense irritation.
Solid/Kinetic: inert, solid construction for energy transfer, training, and deterrence without chemical payload.
What is the Shelf life for pepper ammo?
Both S.A. Self Defense and Byrna Ammo have a shelf life of 3 years.
Can I reuse solid/kinetic rounds?
Yes you can reuse both S.A. Self defense Hardcore Solid Ammo and Byrna Kinetic Ammo. Please check each round for damage after use.
Can I mix ammo types in a magazine?
Many users stage Hardcore soild or kinetic first (to place shots and create distance) followed by pepper. For Both S.A. Self Defense Ammo and Byrna Ammo

S.A. Self Defense Ammo is the only Ammo we warranty and you must be registered.
