Built around the same patented Core Defense steel-core technology, these rounds deliver exceptional accuracy, reliable breakability, and visible impact marking—without chemical irritants.
Each .68 caliber round features a perfectly centered steel core, suspended inside a patented frangible shell and surrounded by inert powder. This balanced internal design improves flight stability, resulting in tighter shot placement and more consistent performance than standard powder balls. Upon impact, engineered fracture lines ensure the shell breaks cleanly, releasing inert powder to clearly mark the subject or target.
Ideal for training, force-on-force practice, and compliant home defense setups, Core Defense inert rounds allow users to practice realistic scenarios while maintaining distance and control.

Internal supports keep the steel core centered inside the projectile, improving balance and stability during flight for more consistent accuracy. Upon impact, the steel core and engineered fracture lines help break the shell and release the inert marking powder.
These rounds contain no OC or PAVA pepper irritant, making them suitable for training, launcher testing, scenario drills and impact-based preparedness where chemical projectiles are not desired.
The screw-top container includes 100 .68 caliber rounds for extended training and convenient storage.
