  4. ACCOUNTS; HOW TO ENTER
    A) Accounts: Creating a Website account is free. An account in good standing is required to (i) submit an entry and (ii) participate in public voting. C) Uniform Requirement: To qualify, the depicted “hero” must be visibly in uniform in the photo/video. “Uniform” means an authorized, professional uniform worn by a first responder or service professional (e.g., law enforcement, firefighter, EMT/paramedic, active-duty military or veteran in authorized dress, or healthcare professional in professional attire), consistent with all applicable employer/agency rules and policies. Entrant is solely responsible for obtaining all permissions and ensuring compliance with law and policy.

    F) Sharing: After submission, Entries may appear in the public gallery on the Website. Sharing your Entry’s gallery link on social media is optional and may help gather votes.
    G) No purchase necessary.
  5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS; CONTENT RESTRICTIONS
By submitting an Entry, you represent and warrant that:
    a) The Entry is your original work; you own all rights or hold all necessary licenses, permissions, and releases, including from the “hero” and any other person(s) depicted (model/appearance releases).
    b) The Entry does not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, trade dress, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
    c) The Entry is family-friendly; contains no nudity, pornography, graphic violence, hate speech, harassment, illegal drugs, or otherwise inappropriate content; and contains no political campaigning or endorsements.
    d) The Entry does not depict dangerous, illegal, or unsafe activity; does not reveal sensitive personal data; and complies with all laws and applicable agency/employer policies (including restrictions on photographing uniforms, insignia, locations, or equipment).
    e) Third-party logos/insignia or employer/agency marks may not be featured except as incidental to a lawful, authorized uniform; no implication of endorsement by any third party is permitted.
Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Entry it deems non-compliant, unsafe, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate.
  6. LICENSE; PUBLICITY RELEASE
As a condition of entry, you grant Sponsor and its designees a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display your Entry (including names, likenesses, voices, performances, and biographical information of you and anyone appearing) in any media now known or later developed for purposes of administering, promoting, and advertising the Contest and Sponsor’s goods/services, without further notice, approval, or compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor may require a publicity release where permitted.
  7. JUDGING; PUBLIC VOTING; ANTI-FRAUD

    C) Anti-Fraud Safeguards: Sponsor may require email or multi-factor verification to activate voting; block disposable/temporary email domains; rate-limit votes by IP/device; detect bot/scripted activity; and employ automated or manual review. Votes or Entries suspected to result from fraud, bots, scripts, VPN/proxy masking, vote exchanges, purchased votes, duplicate/throwaway accounts, or other abuse may be removed. Sponsor may adjust displayed vote totals to exclude invalid votes and may merge or suspend suspected duplicate accounts.
    D) Winner Determination; Tie-Break: Subject to verification and compliance with these Rules, the potential winner is the Entry with the highest number of valid votes at the close of the Voting Period. In the event of a tie after removal of invalid votes, Sponsor will select the winner based on: (i) creativity and humor (40%), (ii) adherence to the uniform requirement (30%), and (iii) overall quality and positive spirit (30%). Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.
  8. PRIZE; APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”)
